Utena University of Applied Sciences has the following wireless networks available:

You can also connect to the “eduroam” network at other schools or universities in Lithuania or other countries.

How do I connect?

To access the internet, you must enter your username and password given to you by the University.

“eduroam”

As soon as you select the “eduroam” Wi-Fi network, you will be prompted for your login information. The username (identity) field is the login name given to you by Utena UoAS, plus the @ukolegija.lt suffix.

There are detailed instructions for certain device types.

“Utenos kolegija”

Open a web browser after connecting for the first time, and you will be redirected to the login page.

In case of any problems, contact the IT service department of the University.

How do the networks differ?

eduroam Utenos kolegija
Our primary network which will continue to receive improvements. This old network will be decommissionned over time.
Protects all information sent over the network. Wide open.
Remembers your login forever. Must log in again every month, in each building separately.
Can be found in many other schools and universities. Only works in Utena UoAS territory.
Might not work with some older devices. Works with all devices.
Supports IPv6. IPv6 is not available.

What limits are there?

There are no data limits on the Wi-Fi networks. (However, don't forget that other people are using the network as well.)

Services (protocols) specified by Eduroam are always allowed. Other protocols may be allowed or blocked depending on situation.
